Lisa Prince is from Stafford and has been drawing and painting all her life. Trained in graphic design with a background in horticulture and a love of travel to her Grandmothers home country of Italy.
She developed a love of her favourite subject matters in her artwork from her daily contact with the wildlife she sees around her.
Her travels to Italy are obviously inspiring, especially to the southern region of Puglia, where her mother was born and still has family links there to this day. As a Staffordian she is fascinated by the rich history and architecture all around the town and Staffordshire.
As a former graphic designer Lisa’s work has a graphic style, but she has no set rules when it comes to art and uses mixed media, from watercolour paints to gel pens. Producing a range of work from very colourful pieces to detailed black and white drawing.
